How every Hutera Advisory report is researched, scored, and verified before publication.
Every country guide passes through five stages before it reaches a traveller.
We pull structured country data (currency, driving side, calling code, languages, time zone) from public reference APIs, combined with our own researched datasets on power sockets and emergency numbers.
Our team drafts each of the nine report sections — Key Information, Practical Survival, Cultural Red Lines, Connectivity, Potential Scams, Health & Medical, Legal Environment, Social Etiquette, and Special Considerations — using our internal authoring tool.
Each draft is cross-referenced against official government travel advisories (such as the UK FCDO) to ensure our risk tier and guidance align with current official positions.
No report reaches travellers automatically. Every guide is marked "In Review" and manually checked by our team for accuracy, tone, and relevance before it can be published.
Once approved, a guide is published and becomes available in our Report Generator. We periodically revisit published guides as advisories, entry rules, or on-the-ground conditions change.
How we classify overall destination risk
Risk tiers reflect a combination of crime data, health infrastructure, political stability, and official government advisory levels. They are a general guide only and do not replace destination-specific research for your individual circumstances.
